Landscapes and Life: Three Artistic Visions

Landscapes and Life feature works by Elisabeth Barnett, Janine Privratsky, and Dan Shornstein. These artists who often paint together and independently present three artistic visions in this group show. Each artist paints landscapes and other subjects from life; people, animals, local buildings, and still life works. The show explores a range of style and technique including brushy expressiveness, controlled realism and colorful light.

A Moment in Time tries to capture the exact instant when things were one way and became something else. The show theme is based on the idea of inflection points when something changes into a completely different entity. A time of significant change in a situation as in a turning point interpreted through art. A Moment in Time attempts to express that sentiment through works in a range of style and media.

Fall Colors is an immersive exhibition that captures the transient beauty of the season through a vibrant collection of paintings and mixed-media works. Utilizing a rich palette of deep ambers, burnt siennas, and fiery crimsons the dramatic shift of nature's landscape before the onset of winter is acknowledged. By blending abstract textures with realistic silhouettes, the show invites viewers to reflect on themes of change, maturity, and the cyclical rhythm of the natural world.

The Small Works Show is an annual and popular show that celebrates the innovation of TAG artists who create work on a small scale, in a broad range of media and styles. The representation of fine arts from 3-D works, wall reliefs, ceramics, and sculpture the “Small” is big in providing lovers of art with meaningful, accessible and affordable art. The Show runs from June 2nd to July 2nd with an Opening on Saturday, June 3rd from 5pm-7pm.
