Landscapes and Life: Three Artistic Visions

Landscapes and Life feature works by Elisabeth Barnett, Janine Privratsky, and Dan Shornstein. These artists who often paint together and independently present three artistic visions in this group show. Each artist paints landscapes and other subjects from life; people, animals, local buildings, and still life works. The show explores a range of style and technique including brushy expressiveness, controlled realism and colorful light.

Sculpture, 3-D and Relief show presents art processes that may be viewed from all sides. The exhibit encompasses aspects of space, shape, texture and color in a variety of materials. Shown are works in clay, wax, stone, metal, fabric, glass, wood, and found object. From the realistic to the abstract, freestanding and relief, unique and exciting sculptural forms are on display.

A Moment in Time tries to capture the exact instant when things were one way and became something else. The show theme is based on the idea of inflection points when something changes into a completely different entity. A time of significant change in a situation as in a turning point interpreted through art. A Moment in Time attempts to express that sentiment through works in a range of style and media.

Fall Colors is an immersive exhibition that captures the transient beauty of the season through a vibrant collection of paintings and mixed-media works. Utilizing a rich palette of deep ambers, burnt siennas, and fiery crimsons the dramatic shift of nature's landscape before the onset of winter is acknowledged. By blending abstract textures with realistic silhouettes, the show invites viewers to reflect on themes of change, maturity, and the cyclical rhythm of the natural world.
