Terry was born, raised & continues to live in the foot hills of the Catskill Mountains In close proximity to the Hudson River. As a representational landscape & still life artist she gets her inspiration from the area she lives. Since retirement she is able to devote her time to painting & studying. She currently takes online lessons through a course called Inspired to Paint with artists Elizabeth Robbins & Shanna Kunz. She also attends workshops at the Woodstock School of Art. Her work varies from detailed to minimalistic. Recently she has been trying her hand in no representational abstract art to mix it up. Her main medium is oil. Occasionally she works in watercolor & acrylic. Her work has been shown in Greene, Columbia, Washington, Ulster & Dutchess County.

I draw my inspiration from upstate N.Y. and the Hudson Valley. Also the east coast. I enjoy painting pottery, flowers & copper, brass & silver. I strive to capture the light at different times of the day. My hope is when you look at my paintings they take you to a peaceful place.
