Tivoli Artists Gallery’s EXPLORING PAPERWORKS opened on July 1 and continues through July 24, Paper, in its many forms, has a long history in helping to advance human civilization.
Marie Cole and Claudia Waruch explore paper in three dimensions. Cole's mesmerizing installation consists of hundreds of paper Gingko leaves that swirl in the gallery's air currents. Waruch's printed and folded handmade paper explorations float off the wall, complementing and expanding her two dimensional work.
Gina Palmer and Lindsey Fisher explore form and space in two dimensions. Fisher creates elegant compositions with a variety of collage elements mounted on stretched canvas. Palmer's mixed media compositions explore linocut layered with gelatin printing, and collage elements, mounted on cradled wood panels. Come explore this luminous show that honors the history and variety of paper arts. Visit during weekend gallery hours, or make an appointment for a quiet personal weekday tour.
