For centuries the farms and vistas of the Hudson Valley have been a source of inspiration for artists. This show invited Tag artists to consider their relationship to the land around them. Artists may have composed from elements of the landscape, including the flora and fauna, man-made structures or portraits of local farm folks. Others have been prompted by weather elements, light, atmosphere, colors, textures and natural events.
You will find a range of styles and responses from printmakers, photographers, painters, sculptors and mixed media artists that continue to illuminate our relationship with nature.
