Santina Tirone resides in Ancram, NY. Her artistic spirit and extensive educational background have converged in recent years as she’s had the privilege to guide and encourage young children and individuals of all ages and abilities to explore the world through their minds and senses. Her personal works spotlight color, texture, and the intricate interplay of light. She breathes life into visual experiences, predominantly working with watercolors, acrylic, pastels, and mixed media collage (utilizing recycled materials). Most recently, her works have ventured into the realm of photographic manipulation, where she expresses her deep love of everyday Hudson Valley life, sanding and etching photographs and infusing vibrant colors through paint to take the world we know and cherish and transform it into one of endless possibilities.
