The artist currently lives in Tivoli NY. She holds a MFA in sculpture and began her career in New Mexico doing site work in and around Albuquerque. Her first exhibit was at the Hoshour Gallery which included a large urban site piece, gallery installation, prints and watercolors. She later moved to NYC and distributed work through Castelli Graphics. She worked in Fine art printing studios, curating and hand coloring editions.

I am influenced by my natural surroundings. Grasses, sticks and rocks are frequent choices. With native materials and simple processes I build my pieces, allowing the materials to express itself.

The paintings are usually direct observations often dictated by the process that created them.
